Traditional Rwandan drumming opened the ceremony at Green Hills Academy in Kigali to mark the official dedication of the school as a PASCH school.

Since 2009, German language classes have become part of the curriculum so that nowadays, over 400 students are regular German language students. Through the PASCH initative, they have been equipped with a German classroom and teaching materials.

The PASCH programme is not the only one that strengthens the bonds with Germany. The school has already a school exchange programme with the Luise-Meisner-Gymnasium in Munich.
