The cultural section of the Embassy coordinates the work of German cultural organizations in Rwanda. German activities in the cultural area are varied. The Goethe-Institut in Kigali offers German language courses and an interesting cultural programme, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) provides information on studying in Germany and on available scholarship programs.  The Cultural Section supports and provides information about the German International Sports Promotion.
